NS Info Holdings Data Breach Investigation

Turke & Strauss LLP, a leading data breach law firm, is investigating NS Info Holdings, L.L.C., which does business as Information Clearing House, regarding its recent data breach. The Information Clearinghouse data breach involved sensitive personal identifiable information belonging to an undetermined number of individuals.


Information Clearinghouse is a financial services company that specializes in management and financial consulting. Accordingly, Information Clearinghouse oversees a family of three consulting subsidiaries, including F&D Reports, Creditntell, and Accounts Receivable Management Solutions. Together, Information Clearinghouse’s subsidiaries offer services that range from credit solutions and financial analysis to legal expertise and business intelligence. Information Clearinghouse also operates within more than 20 different industries, including the retail, electronics, food services, and pharmacological sectors. Headquartered in Great Neck, New York, Information Clearinghouse operates branches across 17 states.


On December 29, 2022, NS Info Holdings discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed. Through its investigation, NS Info Holdings determined that an unauthorized actor accessed this sensitive information. On April 4, 2023, NS Info Holdings began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
  • Date of birth
  • Address
