Tally Energy Services Data Breach Investigation

Turke & Strauss LLP, a leading data breach law firm, is investigating Tally Energy Services, LLC regarding its recent data breach. The Tally Energy Services data breach involved sensitive personal identifiable information belonging to an undetermined number of individuals.


Tally Energy Services is an oilfield product and services company focused on providing solutions for oil and gas businesses, specifically for shale drilling. As an energy service company, Tally Energy Services offers its customers solutions in production, directional drilling, frac plug manufacturing, frac data analysis, and well placement optimization. On June 21, 2023, Tally Energy Services discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed. Through its investigation, Tally Energy Services determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed this sensitive information on or around June 21, 2023. On September 11, 2023, Tally Energy Services began contacting individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
  • Adress
  • Date of birth
