Overview
The majority of my practice is devoted to helping individuals and families plan for the future through the thoughtful preparation of wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents. I also guide clients through related matters such as probate, guardianships, and trust administration. In addition, I represent both businesses and individuals in a wide range of disputes and litigation matters.
I take the time to understand each client’s goals, values, and motivations so I can tailor my approach to their unique needs—whether that involves comprehensive estate planning, resolving a conflict, or navigating a complex legal process. Clients appreciate my accessibility, clear communication, and ability to provide practical guidance on the real-world impact of their options.
Experience
Prior to joining Turke & Steil, I maintained a litigation and municipal practice at medium-sized firm in South Central Wisconsin. My practice was focused on assisting individuals and families through difficult divorce, child custody, and placement proceedings, representing local municipalities including Towns, Villages, and School Districts, and representing businesses in litigation. Whether it was an individual going through a divorce, a Town Board Chairman leading his community through the pandemic, or a contractor seeking to get paid for work performed, my clients can always count my expertise, advocacy, and ability to communicate succinctly and directly with them.
