Headquartered in Boca Raton, Florida, HairClub has more than 120 locations in the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico, and employs over 600 individuals.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Recently, HairClub discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which personal identifiable information and sensitive health information in its systems may have been accessed and acquired. Through its investigation, HairClub determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed and acquired this sensitive information on October 18, 2023. On January 12, 2024, HairClub began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information potentially exposed includes:
- Name
- Social Security number
- Driver’s license information
- Direct deposit account information
- Medical information
