WHAT HAPPENED?

On January 7, 2024, Saint Anthony Hospital discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal information in its systems may have been accessed and acquired. Through its investigation, Saint Anthony Hospital determined that an unknown, unauthorized actor may have accessed this sensitive information through its network on December 18, 2023. Recently, Saint Anthony Hospital posted a “Notice of a Data Privacy Incident” on its website. According to the notice, Saint Anthony Hospital’s review of the files involved is still ongoing. Once the review is complete, Saint Anthony Hospital will provide updated information on the types of information potentially impacted and mail notification letters to potentially impacted patients.
