WHAT HAPPENED?

Recently, AT&T discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which personal identifiable information may have been accessed and acquired. While its investigation is ongoing, AT&T has determined that AT&T data-specific fields were contained in a data set released on the dark web. Recently, AT&T began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information potentially exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
  • Date of birth
  • Mailing address
  • Phone number
  • AT&T account number and passcode
